Drafting and planning: Final Script

Underneath The Mushroom Cloud

EXT. Medium Close Up – Lickey Hills – Night
Scene begins with a black out, darkness. Nothing to be seen nor heard. This will last for a few seconds when a narrative from a character can be heard.

Tennessee Rogers: “We have a new enemy, have you felt it?”
The scene will retain its darkness as eerie music begins to build up the next scene.
Cuts To
EXT – CLOSE UP – LICKEY HILLS – Day
Camera cuts to protagonist suddenly waking up in the forest after his brother is taken. He is panting and looking around nervously as he is left for dead. This scene will then cut to black.
Cuts To
EXT – LONG SHOT– LICKEY HILLS – Day
From the blackout scene we are then given a longshot of the landscape. We see the natural terrain, the sound of the wildlife and no sign of any human civilisation. Peaceful. The protagonist then moves into the shot walking away from the camera. Clearly hurt and bruised from his encounter with the antagonist. Whilst this is happening we can hear dialogue from another main character.
Jack Sinclair: “Who are you?”
Cuts To
EXT – LOW ANGLE SHOT – LICKEY HILLS – Day
A low angle shot is used looking up towards the protagonist as he says.
Grey Westmoreland: “I’m nobody”
Cuts To
EXT – MEDIUM CLOSE UP/OVER THE SHOULDER SHOT - LICKEY HILLS – Day
A fast paced action fight scene takes place which will rely on editing to create a suspensful scene and imediantly let the audience know the type of film this is.
Cuts To
INT – HIGH ANGLE SHOT– TOWN – DAY
The shot will be looking down at Jack Sinclair saying the following: 
Jack Sinclair: “You don’t look like nobody”

INT – WIDE SHOT– TOWN – DAY
Wide shot of the room showing the rest of the people in the room then cuts back t the protagonists face in a close up.

Fades Into
EXT – MEDIUM CLOSE UP – NIGHT
The shot will show the kidnapping of Greys’ brother whilst a narrative from the main protagonists occurs before and after the scene.
Roman Sionis: ‘’What are you seeking?’’
Grey Westmoreland: ‘’My brother, he was taken from me.’’
Roman Sionis: ‘’Bandits?’’
Grey Westmoreland: ‘’Yeah’’
Roman Sionis: ‘’Do you know why?’’ 
Grey stares at the camera intensly as we fade to the main antagonist
Cuts to
INT. TRACKING SHOT/ CLOSE UP/ HIGH ANGLE SHOT – DAY
Moving towards the main antagonist from behind him as he walks away from camera. We then cut from behind him to his face looking down towards a photo of his family which he tears up showing he is disengaging himself with his past.
Tennessee Rogers: ‘’The past must be destroyed. For the new world to come to pass this world must be allowed to die.’’
Cuts to
EXT. MEDIUM CLOSE UP/SHOT REVERSE SHOT – DAY
Jack Sinclair gives a narrative about what happened before the war. The shots will switch from him to the rest of the group as he says.
Jack Sinclair: I was there, when it happened. When the bombs fell. And it’s true, what people say, there is still hope in the world.
THIS CHRITMAS
EXT – HIGH ANGLE SHOT – NIGHT
The main antagonist can be seen surrounded by his me
